This pathway combines the Diploma in Hotel Management awarded by Vision College with a Bachelor of International Hospitality & Tourism Management awarded by La Xenia International Institute of Switzerland.
It is designed for students aged 16 to 25 who want a hands-on route into hospitality, tourism and hotel operations. Students begin with classroom and mock hotel training before moving into hotel-based work-based learning.
The pathway is suitable for applicants who want practical experience, structured study and a route towards further study or hospitality career progression, subject to eligibility and current availability.

Two awards in one pathway
Students work towards a Vision College diploma and a La Xenia bachelor in hospitality and tourism management.
Mock hotel training first
The initial stage includes training at Vision College and the Vision College Mock Hotel before students move into hotel-based learning.
Hotel-based learning
28 to 30 months of hotel-based or on-job training with a minimum income of RM800 a month, F&B provided.
Online study support
Lessons remain available online and can be accessed around work schedules during the work-based learning stage.
Capstone progression
The La Xenia stage includes a bachelor capstone or research paper during or after the diploma stage.

Work-based learning and completion
- Initial training is 1 to 2 months at Vision College / Vision College Mock Hotel.
- Students will move into hotel-based training after the initial mock hotel and classroom period.
- Students are expected to join hotels around week 7.
- This pathway is a work-based learning rather than a separate internship model.
- Students may only work with hotels connected to Vision, not other companies.
Assessment and documents
- Students need an overall 50% pass mark and at least 50% in exams or assessments for every subject.
- Application documents include registration form, academic documents, passport copy, passport photo, health declaration, English proof, accommodation form and conditional offer letter stage.
- The visa process typically takes 5 to 7 weeks, depending on document clarity.
- Visa Approval Letter validity is 6 months.
- Airport pickup: A Vision representative expected to be present for airport immigration.
